What is Pour Day?

Every competition season, UFCC casts a practice prototype canoe in the fall semester and a final prototype canoe in the spring semester. Known as Pour Days, these events involve the placement and troweling of three layers of concrete onto the form. Keep reading to learn how you can get involved in some of the most important days in UFCC's entire year!

How can you get involved?

In addition to captains and technicians helping on Pour Day, we also appreciate participation from volunteers! To become a volunteer, you'll need complete a lab safety training course. For more information, attend an ASCE general body meeting or keep an eye on the UFCC Instagram page as Pour Day approaches.
